GM Records press layout

I started with the background. I wanted it to be similiar to night city sky.

I used blask solid and old paper texture. i used some filters to make paper texture more grainy... used some blending modes to mix it with black solid. I used masks in places i wanted to place stars. I made some white circles with brush, multiplied them about 5-6 times, scaling, and blurring them in diffrent ways. Then i flattened the layers with stars. i mulliplied the "stars layer", and blurred them about 2 px, with gaussian blur.


Next - i made some shapes in Adobe Illustrator, disorted them, to create those colorful lights i exported them to adobe photoshop.

I duplicated them in Photoshop, disorted few of them differend ways, crated base of composition. For every layer i made a copy, rasterize it, added some gaussian blur, and used differend blending modes for every layer. I used some adjustment layers, and than some of blending modes.

The fire is made of this shapes, but i used other blending modes, and color adjutments layes, also in was rescaled to be smaller, and distorted to look more like fire.

I added the black CD i made in illustrator, do the final touches (adjusting colors, curves, etc.)

I exported flattened file to illustrator and added text.
